- I am a 40-year-old wife, mother, daughter, sister, teacher, and friend who was recently carried through a tough time. I was expecting a baby who had been given a very poor prognosis. While praying for healing, I also prayed His will be done. God took our son home before his birth. Though the pain was intense and the tears abundant, I always knew deep down that I could trust Him. He is sovereign and He is Love. My heart's cry comes from one of my favorite songs, “. . . to be so close to Him that all my life becomes a testimony of my Savior's grace and love.”

That was really great. This whole blog has been amazing and such a powerful witness.
I think God chose you to go through this because there are very few people who could handle this situation with such strength and character as you have shown. I see you as a modern day Job. Who through intense trials and troubles was able to remain strong and lean only on God for strength and comfort. Not only did you handle this difficult situation with such character, you were able to use your suffering to reach out to others and give them an example of what it means to rely on God during a time like this.
I am so proud of you and feel so blessed to have you as a mother.
